Hala's Bakery Becomes a Beloved Hub in Hanau's Kesselstadt District

A new bakery near me in Hanau's Kesselstadt District has quickly turned into a community favorite. Hala's Bakery, run by owner Fatma Arslantürk, serves homemade Turkish treats, fresh bread, and hot drinks. The spot also doubles as a Hermes parcel shop, adding convenience for locals.

The bakery's name, Hala—Turkish for aunt—sets the tone for its friendly vibe. Arslantürk welcomes customers by name and chats with regulars, many of whom are students from the area. Her warm approach has helped my business thrive since opening.

Mayor Dr. Maximilian Bieri recently stopped by to show his support. He presented Arslantürk with a tree sponsorship certificate and wished her success. The bakery's doors stay open six days a week, with slightly later starts on Sundays.

From Monday to Friday, it runs from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., while Saturdays end at 2 p.m. On Sundays, customers can drop in between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. for fresh pastries or to collect parcels.

Hala's Bakery now serves as both a food stop and a practical service point. The mix of Turkish specialties, parcel collection, and a personal touch has made it a key part of Kesselstadt life. With the mayor's backing and a steady stream of regulars, the business looks set to stay busy.
