Hainburg burglary suspects arrested after early-morning home raid
**In Hainburg, an early Sunday morning, a burglary occurred on 'Am Langen Gewann' street. Around 2:50 AM, a resident reported that unknown individuals had entered their house through a basement window. According to police, the perpetrators broke the window to gain access and ransacked all living spaces. Cash and gold jewelry were among the items stolen.**
**A getaway car was discovered and pursued.** During the investigation, officers found a Seat Leon nearby. When the occupants noticed the patrol car, they sped off and later abandoned the vehicle. Inside the car, officers found a bolt cutter, among other things.
**Three individuals were arrested.** Not far from the vehicle, police encountered two men and a woman who had the matching key for the Seat Leon. According to police, all three appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs. They were temporarily detained and taken to the police station, where they underwent identification procedures.
**Investigations by the Criminal Police** The Offenbach Criminal Police have taken over the investigation and are looking into whether the detainees are responsible for the burglary. Witnesses who observed anything during the night are asked to call the burglary department at 069 8098-1234.
