GWH Bolsters Rhine-Main Presence with 463-Apartment Takeover
GWH Immobilien Holding GmbH is bolstering its presence in the Rhine-Main region with a significant takeover. The acquisition, part of a larger real estate deal involving 463 apartments from a Hessian pension fund, aims to contribute to affordable housing through long-term investments, as stated by CEO Stefan Bürger.
The acquisition spans multiple cities in the region. In Wiesbaden, GWH Wohnungsgesellschaft mbH Hessen has acquired 106 apartments. Additionally, the group has secured 237 units in Bad Homburg and 120 in Neu-Isenburg. This expansion brings the total number of apartments managed by the GWH group to around 53,000 across Germany.
The takeover includes specific properties such as two building lines at Hollerbornstraße 58 to 68 in Bad Homburg, constructed in 1998. Furthermore, GWH has acquired a total of 452 parking spaces alongside the apartments. The acquisition is self-financed, with no external funding involved.
With this acquisition, GWH expects to realise synergies in ongoing operations due to owning other nearby properties. The group's commitment to affordable housing is evident in their long-term investment strategy, contributing to the housing market in the Rhine-Main region.
