A Christmas parade organized by Gießen’s emergency services will take place on December 6. The procession will begin at 6:00 PM from the THW grounds, moving as a single, closed formation under traffic regulations. Drivers have been warned not to interrupt the convoy, as it will be treated as one vehicle under the law. The parade is expected to finish at around 8:10 PM. The parade will showcase unity among Gießen’s emergency services while delivering festive gifts to young attendees. Organisers have emphasised the importance of public cooperation to keep the event safe and orderly. Traffic disruptions are expected to be minimal, but drivers are advised to plan alternative routes where necessary.
