Gießen Police Investigate Exposé, Car Crash; Search for White Car Driver
Gießen police are investigating two unrelated incidents that occurred on Friday evening, October 10, 2025. In the first incident, a 22-year-old man exposed himself and threatened passersby with a small knife in Sudetenlandstraße. In the second incident, a blue Mazda and a parked Ford were involved in an accident on the main street in Leihgestern.
The man was later apprehended by police and admitted to a psychiatric hospital for evaluation. Meanwhile, in Leihgestern, a Mazda driver attempted to avoid a white car, resulting in a collision with a parked Ford. The accident occurred at 8:43 PM. The Mazda's mirror sustained €300 worth of damage. Police are still searching for the driver of the white vehicle who briefly stopped before driving on towards Pohlheim-Watzenborn Steinberg. No witnesses have come forward regarding the accident.
Police urge anyone with information about the white vehicle driver or the incident in Sudetenlandstraße to come forward. The investigation into both incidents continues.
