Germany's Unclaimed Bikes Go Under the Hammer in April 2026 Auction

An online auction of unclaimed bicycles will run from April 10 to 19, 2026. Organised by Fundbüro Deutschland, the event allows registered users to bid on bikes listed from March 30. All sales will follow strict terms, with no right of withdrawal or guarantees on condition.

The auction takes place exclusively on the portal https://www.fundbuerodeutschland.de/Versteigerungen. Participants must register before placing bids, and a binding contract only forms once a bid is officially accepted.

Bicycles will be sold 'as seen', without any warranty for visible or hidden defects. Buyers must inspect items themselves, as no functionality tests have been carried out. The exact number of bikes available remains undisclosed on the website. Those who believe they own a listed bicycle can file a claim by emailing **[email protected]** with proof of ownership. The deadline for submissions is April 7, 2026. Successful bidders must then collect their purchases in person from **Handwerkerhof 13, 07548 Gera**, paying by cash or EC card at the automated checkout.

The auction operates under German law, excluding any right of withdrawal under § 312g BGB. Winners will receive no refunds or exchanges, and all transactions must be completed at the designated pickup location. The full list of bicycles will be published online ahead of the bidding period.
