German man arrested after pharmacy exposes fake erectile dysfunction prescription
Police in Langen have arrested a 58-year-old man on suspicion of document forgery. The case began when a local pharmacy flagged a suspicious prescription for erectile dysfunction medication. Authorities later found evidence of counterfeit documents during a search of his home.
The incident unfolded when the man visited a pharmacy with a prescription that raised concerns. Staff noticed inconsistencies in the layout and issuance date of the document. Instead of dispensing the medication, they kept the prescription and contacted the police.
When the suspect returned for a second time, officers arrested him at the pharmacy. A subsequent search of his home in Offenbach district uncovered a fake doctor's stamp and blank prescription forms. These items are now part of the ongoing investigation.
After completing initial procedures, police released the man from custody. No previous incidents of alleged forgery involving the suspect have been recorded in Langen or the surrounding area over the past two years.
The investigation into the suspected forgery continues. Authorities are examining the seized materials to determine the extent of the alleged fraud. The case remains open as police gather further evidence.
