GER-DA: Raunheim: Container broken into/Fireworks stolen
A shipping container filled with fireworks was broken into and robbed in Raunheim early on Saturday. Police have launched an investigation but have yet to identify those responsible. The public is being asked to come forward with any details that could help the case.
The theft took place in the early hours of December 20 at a shopping market on Flörsheimer Straße. Unknown perpetrators forced their way into the container and stole an undisclosed amount of fireworks. Authorities have not confirmed the exact quantity taken or the total value of the damage.
The Criminal Investigation Department in Rüsselsheim (Precinct 21/22) is leading the inquiry. Anyone with information is urged to contact police at +49 6142 6960. So far, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
