GCB Appoints Greta Schulte as New Head of Government and Public Affairs

German Credit Bank (GCB) has appointed Greta Schulte as its new Head of Government and Public Affairs, effective November 1. She succeeds Andreas Gruber, who took up the role of Chief Sustainability Officer on March 1, 2023.

Schulte brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Most recently, she served as a board member at the European FinTech Association, having previously held the position of Secretary General. Before joining GCB, Schulte worked in Government & Public Affairs at the online bank N26.

At GCB, Schulte will report to Karsten Traum, who serves as both Head of Corporate Development and Solutions and the General Representative of the bank. Despite her impressive track record, the name of Schulte's supervisor at N26 remains unknown to the public.

Greta Schulte's appointment at GCB signals a strategic move for the bank, leveraging her extensive experience in the fintech sector and government affairs. She is set to play a pivotal role in shaping GCB's public relations and policy engagement.
