Fulda driver crashes into parked cars after losing control near hospital

A 30-year-old driver from Fulda crashed his Opel early on Sunday morning, causing significant damage along Buttlarstraße. The incident happened around 3:05 AM on November 30, near Herz-Jesu Hospital. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the collision.

The man was heading towards the hospital when he approached the turn onto Gerloser Weg. Instead of turning right, he lost control of the vehicle while navigating the curve. The car continued straight, striking a streetlamp and a traffic sign before colliding with a parked Volkswagen.

The impact sent debris flying, damaging two other parked cars nearby. Police at the scene estimated the total property damage at no less than €26,500. Authorities conducted a blood test on the driver and confiscated his drivers license.

The investigation into the crash remains ongoing. The driver’s identity has not been released in police reports or public records. The incident has left a stretch of Buttlarstraße with damaged infrastructure and vehicles.
