Fulda Attack: Cyclist Injured in Violent Assault, Suspects Arrested
An incident of dangerous bodily harm unfolded on Sunday evening in Fulda's Robert-Kircher-Straße. An unknown cyclist was attacked by two men after a verbal argument, leaving the cyclist injured and fleeing the scene on his bicycle.
The altercation began around 6 PM when an unknown man on a bike got into a heated exchange with two pedestrians. The situation escalated, with the pedestrians pulling the cyclist off his bike and pushing him against a nearby parked car. In a violent turn, they proceeded to kick the cyclist, causing him injuries. The cyclist managed to escape the scene on his bike.
Witnesses reported the incident to the police, leading to the arrest of two suspects nearby. After police procedures, the suspects were released. However, the police are still searching for the injured cyclist, described as a short, heavyset man.
The two men involved in the attack will face charges of dangerous bodily harm. The police continue their search for the injured cyclist, urging anyone with information to come forward.
