Friedberg Police donate €285 to crime victims via Weißer Ring

Friedberg Police have once again supported local crime victims through a donation to Weißer Ring. On 22 January 2026, officers handed over €285 to the charity’s Wetteraukreis representative. The funds came from public donations collected during bicycle coding events.

The police station in Friedberg holds free bicycle coding sessions every year. These appointments help residents mark their bikes for security. Donation boxes placed at the events gather voluntary contributions from attendees.

In 2025, the collected funds totalled €285. This sum was officially presented to Michael Pollesch, the local Weißer Ring representative, in early 2026. Pollesch publicly thanked Friedberg Police for their ongoing support. New coding appointments for 2026 have now been arranged in Bad Nauheim and Friedberg. The proceeds from future events will continue to benefit Weißer Ring’s work with crime victims.

The €285 donation will assist Weißer Ring in providing aid to those affected by crime in the Wetteraukreis. Friedberg Police’s annual coding events remain a key source of funding for the charity. Further sessions are planned for later in 2026.
