Freenet AG boosts shareholder dividends after strong 2025 financial results

Freenet AG has released its final financial results for 2025, confirming earlier preliminary figures. The company's boards approved the consolidated statements on March 20, 2026, while also proposing a higher dividend for shareholders.

The firm's strong free cash flow will cover the dividend payout without strain. Shareholders can expect €2.07 per share, marking the fifth year in a row of rising payments. The distribution is set for May 18, 2026.

Freenet AG's business relies on steady income from long-term service contracts and digital lifestyle products. This model helps maintain reliable revenue streams even in shifting market conditions.

Looking ahead, the company has reaffirmed its 2026 targets for revenue and EBITDA. While analysts see only modest growth in the short term, they believe long-term prospects could lead to upward revisions in the 2028 forecasts.

The approved financial statements and dividend increase reflect freenet AG's stable performance. With a confirmed outlook for 2026 and a consistent payout policy, the company continues to prioritise shareholder returns. The next dividend will arrive in mid-May.
