Free November lectures teach smart ways to save energy at home

The Hesse Consumer Advice Center is hosting a series of live, interactive lectures this November, focusing on energy-saving measures and modern heating technology. Registration is required via their website, and the sessions are free of charge.

The lectures, held in collaboration with the Energy Advisory Network in the City and District of Gießen, cover a range of topics including heat pumps, insulation, and energy-efficient renovation. They aim to provide expert guidance to consumers, helping them make informed decisions about their energy usage.

On November 12, 2025, Dipl.-Ing. Frauke Hasheider will speak at an information event at the Sulzbacher Bürgerhaus, starting at 5 PM. This event, organized in cooperation with the Deutsche Herzstiftung, is open to patients, their families, and anyone interested in the topic.

In addition to these live lectures, the Consumer Advice Center offers free online energy consultation lectures throughout the month. For those who prefer a more personalized approach, the center also provides consultations at local energy advice hubs or in the comfort of one's own home.

The Consumer Advice Center's Energy Service can be reached at 0800-809 802 400 for more information or to schedule a consultation. Their team of specialists is committed to helping consumers save energy and reduce costs, while also promoting a more sustainable future.
