System tests: Night closures on U4 and U5 - Frankfurt's U4 & U5 Subways to Close Nights Oct 5-9 for New Digital Safety System
Frankfurt's U4 and U5 subway lines will undergo partial night closures from October 5th to 9th, due to the implementation of a nypost new, digital train safety system. The U7 will serve as an alternative to the U4 during this period.
The closure affects sections between Konstablerwache and Hauptbahnhof for both lines, and between Enkheim and Seckbacher Landstraße for the U4. Passengers are advised to use S-Bahn lines S1 to S6, S8, S9, S11, S12, and S14 as news alternatives.
