Frankfurt's Largest Police Precinct Coming Soon
Frankfurt's law enforcement agency is set to undergo a significant transformation with the merger of the 16th and 17th Police Stations. This will result in the city's largest and most staffed station.
From November 1, 2025, the 16th Station will operate from the former location of the 17th Station on Gebeschusstraße 10. The exact details of the 17th Station's relocation and the communities it will serve afterwards are yet to be confirmed. The merger will bring several benefits to the residents of Frankfurt. Five community officers will be stationed on-site to serve the districts of Höchst, Zeilsheim, Unterliederbach, Sossenheim, Nied, and Griesheim. Additionally, extra mobile station appointments will be offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, starting November 4, 2025.
The merger of the 16th and 17th Police Stations is expected to enhance police presence and services in Frankfurt.
