A 29-year-old man will stand trial in Frankfurt this week for allegedly stabbing a stranger in the neck. The attack took place in Bad Homburg in February, leaving the victim with life-threatening neck injuries. Proceedings begin on Thursday at 9:00 AM before a jury court.

The incident unfolded on a bridge in Bad Homburg on February 21. The defendant, dressed in a skirt at the time, is accused of using a knife to stab a 52-year-old passerby in the neck. The victim underwent emergency surgery and survived the assault.

The case will now proceed under the scrutiny of a jury. If convicted, the defendant could face significant legal consequences. The victim, though recovered from surgery, may provide testimony during the trial.
