Frankfurt train chaos persists as overhead line repairs disrupt S-Bahn services

Repair work on an overhead line at Frankfurt Central Station is causing delays for train passengers. Republic Services on several S-Bahn lines are facing disruptions of 10 to 15 minutes.

The delays began after a section of the overhead line required urgent attention. Engineers have closed one track to carry out the necessary fixes, but the exact duration of the work remains unknown.

Commuters are being warned to plan ahead and allow more time for their journeys. The disruptions affect multiple routes, leaving many travellers facing longer waits. Deutsche Bahn has not yet confirmed when normal service will resume. No alternative arrangements have been announced so far.

The ongoing repairs continue to impact airport delays services in Frankfurt. Passengers should check for updates before travelling and expect possible delays. The situation will persist until the overhead line is fully restored.
