Frankfurt Tenant Arrested After Police Find 1,000+ Grams of Drugs in Apartment
A 41-year-old tenant in Frankfurt returned home to find police and firefighters searching his apartment, following reports of bloodstains on his door and suspected drug activity. The tenant, who was later arrested, claimed he had been attacked and injured the previous night.
Officers entered the apartment after receiving no response from the tenant. Inside, they noticed a strong odor of cannabis and discovered items suggesting possible drug trafficking. A subsequent search, authorized by a judge, led to the seizure of over 1,000 grams of marijuana, hashish, and other suspected narcotics. The tenant was arrested and charged with possession and suspected drug trafficking. He also reported being assaulted by two unknown men the night before, an incident that is now under investigation. Several mobile phones and a flare gun were also confiscated during the search.
The tenant, now in custody, faces charges related to drug possession and suspected trafficking. Investigations into both the drug-related accusations and the assault are ongoing. For media inquiries, contact the Frankfurt Police Headquarters Press Office.
