Frankfurt Police's Major Operation Uncovers Vehicle Defects, License Fraud, and Tax Debts
Frankfurt Police conducted a major inspection at Brentano Pool's parking area on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. The operation uncovered numerous violations, including severe vehicle defects, license fraud, and unpaid tax debts.
Officers inspected 252 vehicles and checked 376 individuals. They found three vehicles with revoked roadworthiness certificates due to severe technical flaws or unapproved modifications. A 7.5-tonne truck was taken out of service for technical defects, and its driver faced a criminal complaint for driving without a valid license.
The operation also uncovered a counterfeit Ukrainian driver's license. Officers filed 38 criminal complaints, mostly involving document forgery or offenses under the Social Security Code. They issued 102 administrative offense reports and recovered overdue tax debts totaling over €100,000.
The successful operation demonstrated the effectiveness of cross-agency cooperation in enhancing road safety. Participating units plan to continue joint operations to improve traffic security for all citizens.
