Nationally, overall crime fell by 1.7%, but violent crime saw a slight uptick, and police killings reached a record high of 22.

The event will provide a detailed breakdown of Frankfurt's crime landscape for 2024. Officials will address the surge in specific offence categories and outline responses to emerging challenges. Media representatives must confirm attendance in advance to secure access.
