Frankfurt Police to Reveal 2024 Crime Data in Major Briefing Next Week

The Frankfurt Police Department will unveil its 2024 crime statistics next week. The presentation takes place on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Senior officials, including Police President Stefan MĂźller, will lead the main event at the city's police headquarters.

The briefing will be held at Frankfurt Police Headquarters on Adickesallee 70. Alongside MĂźller, Viktor Lekic, head of the Criminal Investigation Directorate, and Verena Gerstendorff, who leads the Domestic Violence Coordination Unit, will present the data.

Media representatives can attend but must register by Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Registration is handled via email through the police press office. Due to limited parking, attendees are encouraged to use public transport to the 'Miquelallee / Adickesallee / Polizeipräsidium' stop.

While specific Frankfurt trends remain undisclosed, broader Hessen-wide figures show a 30% increase in left-wing motivated crimes from 2022 to 2024. Property damage was the most common offence in these cases. Nationally, overall crime fell by 1.7% in 2024 compared to the previous year.

The event will provide an official overview of Frankfurt's crime landscape for 2024. Journalists and attendees will hear directly from key police leaders. Further details on local trends may emerge during the presentation.
