Frankfurt Police Hunt Knife Attack Suspects After Bus and Street Incidents
Frankfurt police have been investigating a series of knife attacks involving young suspects. The most recent incidents occurred in Preungesheim and on a city bus in Ernst-Kahn-Straße.
On January 8, 2025, a knife fight broke out on a city bus in Ernst-Kahn-Straße. Two attackers, a 17-year-old and a 20-year-old, were arrested following the incident.
In Preungesheim, another knife attack took place on January 12, 2025. A 17-year-old youth was involved in a dispute that led to him being stabbed on his left cheek and his jacket being damaged. The other attackers remain unknown.
A 38-year-old man was also stabbed during an argument on a bus. He sustained injuries to his hand and face but managed to escape. The suspects in the Preungesheim robbery on Konrad-Hoenen-Weg are still at large due to insufficient evidence.
Police are urging anyone with information about the Preungesheim robbery suspects to come forward. The description of the suspects includes a 170 cm tall male, 17-22 years old, with a slim build, black hair, full beard, wearing a blue tracksuit, black vest, and blue face mask, and another male, 180 cm tall, 17-22 years old, with a slim build, wearing dark pants, black winter jacket with fur hood, and blue face mask.
