Frankfurt police bust drug ring after hotel fire alarm triggers chaotic chase

Police in Frankfurt arrested three suspected drug dealers on February 13, 2025. The operation began after a fire alarm triggered a search at a hotel on Berliner Straße. Officers later uncovered a large quantity of cannabis linked to the group.

The incident started when emergency services responded to a fire alarm at the hotel. During the search, two men were seen dropping two bags of cannabis as they tried to flee. Police quickly detained them along with a third suspect.

A vehicle connected to the group was later found in Offenbach. Inside, officers discovered more cannabis and fake identification documents. The driver was allegedly under the influence of drugs at the time. Further searches led police to a hotel room, where they confiscated 5.3 kilograms of cannabis products. All three suspects were taken into custody and now face charges, including suspicion of drug trafficking.

The operation resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of cannabis and the arrest of three individuals. The case will now proceed through the legal system, with the suspects facing multiple charges. Police continue to investigate the source of the drugs and the authenticity of the fake IDs.
