Frankfurt Police Arrest Serial Fraudster After Kiosk Attempt

Frankfurt police have apprehended a serial fraudster. On October 1st, 2025, undercover officers arrested a 31-year-old homeless woman suspected of multiple change fraud attempts. The woman's spree began on September 30th, 2025, when she tried to defraud a kiosk in Bockenheim. CCTV footage helped identify her. She has a history of similar offenses across Germany. In Frankfurt, she succeeded in retaining cash once, at a cosmetics store in Sachsenhausen. Ralf Lauter, head of the Frankfurt Police Headquarters, confirmed the arrest. He praised the undercover officers' vigilance and the use of CCTV footage in apprehending the suspect. The arrested woman will face charges for attempted and completed fraud in multiple cases. Frankfurt police continue to investigate her activities across Germany. The public is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
