Frankfurt Police Arrest Drunk Man for Attacking Security with Bike Lock
On Thursday evening, police in Frankfurt arrested a 68-year-old man for attempting to harm security personnel with a metal bike lock. The incident occurred around 8:50 PM on Braubachstraße during an event, but no injuries were reported.
The man, heavily intoxicated, initially verbally threatened the employees before swinging the bike lock at them. The security staff managed to keep him at bay until police arrived. The suspect's actions appear unrelated to the event and were likely influenced by his alcohol consumption. He was arrested without incident and taken to the detention cells at the Frankfurt Police Headquarters to sober up.
The suspect was arrested for attempting to cause harm but no injuries were sustained. He was taken into custody to sober up and will face charges related to his actions.
