Frankfurt Garbage Bin Arson Spree: Police Seek Suspect Info

Frankfurt am Main was hit by a series of arson attacks on garbage bins in the early hours of June 25, 2025. The police are seeking information about the suspect(s) involved, with no reliable leads yet.

The incidents occurred in the Griesheim area between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. The first fire was reported at 02:40 AM on Schwarzerlenweg. Two more fires followed on Espenstraße, at 03:10 AM and 04:05 AM. The fire department responded swiftly, preventing the fires from spreading to nearby residential buildings.

The police are urging anyone with information about the suspect(s) to come forward. Witnesses can call 069/755-1599 or contact their local police station.
