Frankfurt Airport's New Terminal 3 Promises Culinary Diversity

Frankfurt Airport's new Terminal 3, set to open in 2026, promises a diverse culinary experience. Around 2,900 square meters of catering spaces have been allocated to two leading providers, Avalta and Lagardère Travel Retail.

The new terminal, designed to handle 19 million passengers annually, will offer a mix of international classics, regional highlights, and innovative trend concepts. Avalta will operate twelve spaces, while Lagardère Travel Retail will manage ten catering spaces and six retail spaces. In total, around 65 retail spaces covering approximately 12,000 square meters have been allocated, including duty-free shops, financial services, and car rentals. Passengers can enjoy two food courts and a central bar in the market place.

Fraport has focused on innovation, quality, and strong partnerships with leading providers to ensure a wide range of dining and retail options for passengers.

With the catering and retail spaces fully allocated, Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport is set to provide a diverse and high-quality experience for passengers starting in the summer flight plan of 2026.
