Frank Lehmann Honored With Hessian Order of Merit for Community Dedication

Frank Lehmann, a man renowned for his dedication and foresight, has been awarded the Hessian Order of Merit. The mayor of Steinheim, Dr. Maximilian Bieri, presented him with the accolade during a ceremony at the Old Church.

Lehmann, born in Berlin on January 17, 1942, has been a driving force in the preservation of the Old Church in Steinheim. He has served as its chairman since 2008, initiating numerous projects and fostering partnerships to ensure the church's continued existence.

His commitment to the community extends beyond Steinheim. Lehmann served on the board of the German Multiple Sclerosis Society (DMSG) Hesse from 2006 to 2013, actively supporting its work. He also contributed to the Thinker Forum as a jury member from 2013 to 2023.

Before his wide recognition, Lehmann gained prominence as the moderator of the 'Stock Exchange in the First' show on ARD.

Frank Lehmann's dedication, integrity, and foresight have earned him the State of Hesse's Honor Award. His long-standing voluntary commitment, particularly in preserving the Old Church and supporting the DMSG, has left a significant impact on the community.
