A serious traffic collision in Petersberg, Hesse, left four people injured on December 18, 2025. Among them was a child, while emergency services rushed all victims to hospital. The crash involved two vehicles and forced authorities to shut down the road temporarily.

The accident happened as a 32-year-old man attempted to turn left from the A7 highway onto B485. His car collided with another driven by a 59-year-old woman. The man, his 34-year-old passenger, and a four-year-old girl suffered minor injuries, while the older driver was seriously hurt.

The injured remain under medical care, with the older driver in a more critical condition. The road has since reopened, but the investigation into the accident is ongoing. Officials have not yet confirmed what led to the collision.
