Floersheim hosts free burglary prevention event with police experts

A police information booth on burglary prevention will take place at the Floersheim shopping centre on Saturday, October 11, 2025. The event, running from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, is part of the 'Day of Associations' and includes an interactive quiz on home security. Local residents will also have the chance to speak directly with a crime prevention expert. The rescheduled event is a collaboration between the Main-Taunus Police Directorate and the Prevention Council's senior safety advisory service. Visitors can test their knowledge with a quick three-question burglary quiz designed to raise awareness about home security.

Florian Meerheim, a Police Chief Inspector specialising in crime prevention, will be available throughout the session. Attendees can meet him during an open consultation to discuss any policing issues affecting Floersheim.

The initiative aims to provide practical advice on preventing burglaries. Residents will leave with clearer insights into securing their homes. The event also strengthens ties between local police and the community.
