Fist-sized rock thrown onto A66 near Wiesbaden - BMW hit
A 1.5-kilogram rock was hurled onto a moving BMW on the A66 near Wiesbaden-Schierstein, smashing the windscreen. The incident left three teenagers unharmed, though the car suffered around €4,000 in damage. Police are now searching for those responsible.
The attack happened when the stone was thrown from a bridge above the motorway. Investigators believe it was deliberate, as the rock did not come from the bridge itself. The object struck the vehicle’s windshield before landing in the lap of one of the passengers, aged between 15 and 18.
