First Million of Post Bank Clients Transferred to VTB for Servicing
VTB Bank has begun moving Pochta Bank customers to its own services. The process will finish by May 2026, giving millions of Russians access to new financial tools. Over 20,000 post offices nationwide will support the transition.
The shift started with the first million Pochta Bank users switching to VTB. Customers can transfer accounts online, via the mobile app, or at post offices. The fully digital process takes just minutes.
Since the integration began, millions have already signed up for VTB products. Pensioners receive extra benefits, including permanent access to the 'Pharmacies' loyalty programme and free fraud protection on pension payments.
Dmitry Breitenbicher, VTBâs deputy president for international activities, highlighted the expanded reach. The move will connect over 13,000 communities to VTBâs services, offering greater convenience and advanced financial solutions.
The integration will run until May 2026, extending VTBâs network across Russia. Customers gain access to more services through post offices, digital banking, and tailored benefits. The transition aims to simplify banking for millions while broadening VTBâs presence.
