Fireworks Incident at Hofgeismar Train Station: Police Seek Witnesses

An investigation is underway after an unknown individual or group set off fireworks at Hofgeismar train station on Friday afternoon, October 24, 2025. The Federal Police Inspectorate Kassel is seeking witnesses for information.

The incident took place at Bahnhofplatz 1A, leaving seating benches covered in soot and burn residue. Remnants of firecrackers were scattered across the platform. The estimated damage is around €150. Despite the incident, no suspect leads have been identified yet. The federal police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
