Decorated Tractors Bring Donations to UKE - Festive Tractor Convoy Brings Christmas Cheer to Young Cancer Patients

A convoy of festively decorated tractors has brought joy to children battling cancer in two German hospitals. On the day before Christmas Eve, farmers delivered gifts and donations to young patients at Hamburg’s University Medical Center Eppendorf (UKE) and Schleswig-Holstein University Hospital (UKSH). The event, organized by KLJB Greven, also reached children at these hospitals near me. The annual tradition, called We Make You Shine, saw around 35 Christmas-adorned tractors arrive at the hospitals. Each vehicle carried presents and donations for children undergoing treatment. The event was livestreamed on Facebook and Instagram, allowing more people to share in the festive moment. The convoy’s visits to UKE and UKSH marked another successful year for the event. The donations and festive atmosphere provided a moment of happiness for children facing serious illness. Organizers plan to continue the tradition in the years ahead.
