"Despite All the Critics' Doubts": FC Bayern Sets New Record Revenue - FC Bayern Munich Reports Record Revenue, Hainer Re-elected

Herbert Hainer, the president of FC Bayern Munich, was re-elected at the annual general meeting on November 2, 2025. Despite predictions, the club enjoyed a record year economically.

FC Bayern Munich generated record revenue of €978.3 million, a 2.8% increase from the previous year. The club's CEO, Jan-Christian Dreesen, is against regular Bundesliga matches abroad but supports globalising the league.

Matchday revenue surged by nearly 15% to €260.7 million, driven by the Club World Cup. Despite competing against clubs with easier access to funds, FC Bayern Munich seeks to maximise athletic achievement while ensuring financial sustainability. The club could have achieved another record profit without major investments, with pre-tax earnings at €42.5 million and net profit at €27.1 million.

FC Bayern Munich, under the leadership of Herbert Hainer, aims for maximum sporting success rather than financial gain. Despite challenges, the club continues to set records and strive for global recognition.
