Family-Owned Dealerships Merge to Form Brandt Eggers GmbH in Northern Germany
Two long-standing car dealerships, Autohaus Brandt and Autohaus Eggers, have merged to form Brandt Eggers GmbH. The new company remains under family ownership, combining decades of local expertise. It now operates across nine locations in Lower Saxony and Bremen, offering a wider range of services and brands to its customers under one name.
The merger brings together seven automotive brands: Audi, Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Å koda, Seat, Cupra, and Nissan. Customers will continue to receive personalised service, with the same trusted local contacts they relied on before. The companyās expanded scale aims to improve regional coverage while keeping a focus on individual support.
Brandt Eggers GmbH will run dealerships in Verden, Weyhe, Bremen, Stuhr, Achim, and Ritterhude. Services include new and used vehicle sales, maintenance, repairs, accident recovery, and replacement mobility options. The business employs over 450 people, with Thomas Armbrecht and Bernd Bielefeld appointed as managing directors. The merger is designed to secure jobs and create long-term stability for employees, customers, and the company itself. By pooling resources, the owners intend to strengthen the economic foundation and invest in future mobility solutions for the region.
The newly formed company retains its family-run roots while expanding its reach. With nine locations and a broader brand portfolio, Brandt Eggers GmbH aims to maintain local trust and service quality. The focus remains on supporting customers, staff, and the regional economy in the years ahead.
