Everest Appoints Anthony Vidovich as New Executive Vice President and General Counsel

Everest Group has announced the appointment of Anthony Vidovich as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, effective January 5th, 2026. Vidovich succeeds Ricardo Anzaldua, who is retiring following a transition period.

Vidovich brings nearly three decades of experience in the global property and casualty re/insurance industry to Everest. His last role was at AIG, where he served as the Global Head of Insurance Legal. Prior to this, he held executive leadership roles at XL Group/XL Catlin and The Hartford.

President and CEO of Everest, Jim Williamson, praised Vidovich's extensive leadership qualities and ability to navigate complex organizations. Williamson believes Vidovich's insight and guidance will be invaluable in advancing Everest's long-term growth strategy. Vidovich's industry and advisory board service, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Institute for Legal Reform and the RAND Corporation Institute for Civil Justice, further strengthens his profile.

Anthony Vidovich will report to Jim Williamson and join the firm's Executive Leadership Team. His appointment is expected to bring a wealth of experience and expertise to Everest Group, supporting its continued growth and success.
