€80,000 in high-value construction tools stolen from Frankfurt warehouse overnight

A warehouse in Frankfurt was targeted by thieves overnight, with high-value construction tools stolen. The break-in happened between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning on Lämmerspieler Straße. Police estimate the stolen equipment to be worth around €80,000.

The burglary took place sometime between 6:15 PM on Wednesday and 5:50 AM on Thursday. Thieves smashed a window to enter the storage facility. Once inside, they took power drills, saws, grinding tools, and other specialist equipment.

Authorities believe the culprits may have used a vehicle to carry away the heavy machinery. This incident follows a pattern of similar thefts in the region over the past year. Nearby areas like Schwanenborg and Achterort have also seen construction containers raided, with losses ranging from €2,000 to €8,500.

Other recent cases include a van break-in in Oberursel/Weißkirchen between late December 2025 and early January 2026, as well as a container theft in Bad Homburg in October 2025.

Police are now asking for witnesses to come forward with any information. Anyone with details can contact officers on 069 8098-1234. The investigation into the Frankfurt warehouse theft remains ongoing.
