ESWE slashes energy prices in 2026 with new tariffs for Wiesbaden customers

ESWE Energy has announced changes to its tariffs, offering savings and new options for gas and electricity customers in Wiesbaden and surrounding areas. In-person consultations are now available at ESWE Energy CENTERS in Wiesbaden and Taunusstein.

Starting January 1, 2026, ESWE Versorgung will lower electricity and gas prices for its customers. The ESWE Economy Gas tariff will see a decrease of 0.80 cents per kWh in the variable gas rate. Residents in two- to three-room apartments can expect to save around €49 per year on electricity, while single-family homes consuming 3,000 kWh annually will save approximately €93. The ESWE Komfort STROM tariff will also benefit, with a drop of 4 cents per kilowatt-hour in the variable electricity rate.

Despite rising grid fees and CO₂ costs, gas customers with average consumption of 18,000 kWh will pay €111 less per year. However, fixed monthly fees will increase by €2.19 to cover base grid fees, metering services, and administrative charges.

Customers can now consult in person at ESWE Energy CENTERS for tailored advice. ESWE's hotline, available 24/7 at 0800 780-2200, offers assistance with tariffs and potential savings. The price reductions and new options aim to provide relief to customers amidst rising energy costs.
