Erlanger Revives Business Council to Boost Local Economy
Erlanger is set to bolster its business community with the revival of the Erlanger Business Council, launching on Jan. 1, 2023. The council aims to strengthen local partnerships, attract new businesses, and support existing ones. Mayor Jessica Fette expressed excitement for the council's potential to support entrepreneurs and create growth opportunities.
Chris Cheney, Senior Director of Warehouse Operations at Coca-Cola Consolidated, will chair the Erlanger Business Council. The council will meet monthly, with locations rotating throughout the community. Its goals include fostering collaboration, promoting economic growth, and providing support for local business development. The council will serve as a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and advocacy.
Erlanger is the fourth city to join the NKY Chamber Business Councils, following Florence, Fort Thomas, and Newport. The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber) has announced the addition of the Erlanger Business Council to its business councils. Membership is open to businesses, industry associations, government officials, educational institutions, and community organizations within Erlanger's limits.
The Erlanger Business Council's reestablishment, in partnership with the NKY Chamber, promises to connect business owners with each other, local officials, and the broader Northern Kentucky region. With Cheney at the helm, the council is poised to drive progress and growth in Erlanger's business community.
