Elderly man investigated for discriminatory remarks on Offenbach bus

Police were called to a bus in Offenbach on Friday afternoon after reports of a verbal dispute. A 77-year-old man allegedly made degrading and discriminatory comments to a 35-year-old woman boarding with a stroller.

The incident took place around 12:50 p.m. on a route 103 bus travelling along Frankfurter Straße. Officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of an argument.

The woman, who was pushing a stroller, was reportedly targeted by the elderly man. Authorities are investigating whether the remarks had a racial motive. No witness statements or further details about the nature of the altercation have been confirmed. Police have not released additional information about the ongoing inquiry.

The case remains under investigation. Authorities will determine whether the comments constituted discriminatory behaviour. No charges have been filed at this stage.
