Egelsbach hit by daytime burglaries as police hunt for clues
A series of burglaries struck homes in Egelsbach on Tuesday. The break-ins happened between 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM, with at least five properties targeted. Police are now searching for witnesses as they investigate the crimes.
The first reports reached Langen police station by evening. Three burglaries were confirmed, with two additional incidents on Im Brühl. In each case, burglars forced entry through patio doors before searching rooms inside.
One homeowner discovered their property ransacked, with watches worth around €2,000 stolen. The forced entries and damaged interiors left thousands of euros in repairs. Despite the scale of the break-ins, officers currently have no suspects.
Criminal investigators have launched an official probe. They are urging anyone with information to come forward. Tips can be submitted directly to Langen police.
The burglaries caused significant financial loss and property damage. Authorities continue to gather evidence but have yet to identify those responsible. Residents are advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
