Early-morning arson in Frankfurt leaves residents on edge

A small fire broke out in Frankfurt during the early hours of November 24, 2025. The blaze, set in the entrance of a residential building on Landgrafenstraße, caused minor damage but was quickly brought under control by bystanders. The incident occurred just after midnight, at around 12:05 a.m. Unknown individuals ignited a pile of trash and paper debris inside the building’s entrance, leading to poor air quality in the area. The flames grew strong enough to shatter the glass in the front door. The fire caused limited destruction, thanks to the immediate action of those nearby. Investigations are ongoing, but the person or group responsible remains unknown. Police continue to gather information about the early-morning arson on Landgrafenstraße.
