Drunk Man, 32, Arrested After Abusing Police Emergency Number in Dreieich
A 32-year-old man from Dreieich, Germany, caused a disturbance on Tuesday evening. The man, whose name has not been released, repeatedly called the police emergency number and engaged in irrational behaviour in the Dreieichenhain area of Dreieich.
Police were first alerted around 8 PM when the man began making incoherent statements and abusing the emergency number. Officers were dispatched to Weimarstraße to verify his identity, but he resisted and had to be arrested with additional backup. During the incident, the man appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and insulted and threatened the officers. The content of his calls also led officers to suspect the use of unconstitutional symbols, initiating a procedure to investigate this.
Despite the man's actions, the police officers remained unharmed. He was taken to the police station where a blood sample was taken. Several criminal proceedings have been initiated against him, and investigations are ongoing.
The 32-year-old man from Dreieich faces multiple charges following his irrational outbursts and abuse of the police emergency number on Tuesday evening. Police are continuing their investigations into the incident.
