A 25-year-old driver from the Odenwald district is under investigation for suspected illegal street racing. Police stopped the driver during an early-morning speed check on December 10, 2025, after multiple reports of reckless driving in the area.

The incident unfolded on Eulbach Street in Erbach at around 5:30 AM. Officers recorded the driver's car traveling at over 80 km/h in a 30 km/h zone. His car was found to have unauthorised technical modifications, leading to the immediate confiscation of his licence.

The driver now faces legal consequences for excessive speeding and car modifications. Police continue to monitor the area following repeated complaints from local residents. Further action will depend on the outcome of the investigation.
