Serious Collision on B 45 Near Eppertshausen – Driver Airlifted to Hospital
EPPERTSHAUSEN, B 45 – A 46-year-old man from Münster suffered severe injuries in a traffic accident on the B 45 between Eppertshausen and Dieburg on Thursday (September 11) at 4:23 p.m.
According to initial investigations, the 46-year-old driver was entering the B 45 from the B 486 on-ramp when he veered left off the roadway into oncoming traffic and collided with a truck. The impact sent his vehicle careening into the embankment, where it came to rest on the shoulder.
The driver sustained serious injuries and was airlifted by rescue helicopter to a hospital. The truck driver was unharmed in the collision.
Emergency responders, including paramedics, police, and fire departments from Rödermark, Münster, and Eppertshausen, were deployed to the scene. The B 45 was closed in the direction of Dieburg for the duration of the accident investigation.
