Dreieich’s BIKhaus Youth Centre Upgrades Music Studio After €1,355 Donation

A generous donation of €1,355 has boosted Dreieich’s BIKhaus youth centre, funding new equipment for its music studio. The money came from a Düsseldorf businessman who once used the centre’s facilities as a teenager. His gift will provide updated tools for young musicians.

The donation was arranged through XYZ Tech Solutions in October 2025. The funds covered a new computer, professional audio software, an audio interface, and a high-quality vocal microphone. Local newspaper Offenbacher Post reported the upgrade on 15 October 2025.

The donor, now an established audio engineer, credits the youth centre for helping launch his career. After training in the same studio years ago, he went on to win the 2020 German Commercial Film Award for Best Sound Design. His contribution aims to give current teens the same opportunities he once had. The equipment will expand the studio’s capabilities, allowing young people to record and produce music professionally. Centre staff have welcomed the upgrade, noting it will support creative projects for years to come.

The new gear is already in place at the BIKhaus music studio. Young musicians in Dreieich can now access industry-standard tools thanks to the donation. The former teen’s success story highlights how local youth services can shape future careers.
