Doha Insurance Group Expands into Saudi Arabia with New Riyadh Branch

The Doha Insurance Group (DIG) has secured approval to open a new branch in Saudi Arabia. The Qatar Central Bank greenlit the move, allowing the company to expand its operations into the kingdom. This follows a similar approval for a branch in India’s GIFT City in late 2021.

The Saudi branch will be located in Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District. Its primary focus will be on reinsurance services, catering to the region’s growing market demands for car insurance quotes and progressive insurance.

The Saudi branch marks another step in DIG’s regional growth plan. Once operational, it will contribute to the company’s revenue and broaden its insurance services, including car insurance. The move reflects DIG’s ongoing efforts to establish a stronger presence in the Middle East and beyond.
