Painkillers at dm: Drugstores push onto health market - dm Launches Online Pharmacy to Meet Germany’s Health Product Demand

Drugstore chain dm is entering the online marketplace with its new service, 'dm-med'. The platform will sell over-the-counter medications and skincare products directly through its website, catering to the rising demand for health-related items across Germany.

The new online pharmacy will initially offer around 2,500 non-prescription drugs and 1,000 skincare items. Popular products like painkillers, which customers had often searched for on dm’s site, will now be available for purchase. The company sees this expansion as a direct response to growing consumer interest in health and self-care.

The launch of 'dm-med' marks a significant shift in how Germans access non-prescription medications, as it taps into the rapidly expanding stock market today for these products.
